iCapital Network set to democratize alternative investments completes $50m financing round

iCapital Network announced the completion of its $50m financing round with investments from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, UBS Financial Services, Inc., and lead investor BlackRock underscoring importance of alternative investments and market-leading technology in holistic wealth management.

iCapital Network is a financial technology platform democratizing alternative investments for high-net-worth individuals and their financial advisors. It said that the latest funding round as part of a broader commercial relationship.

"Our strategic partnerships represent industry confidence in iCapital's technology-led approach to solving the long-standing obstacles that prevent individual investors from accessing institutional-caliber investments," said Lawrence Calcano, chief executive officer of iCapital Network. iCapital's online platform offers investors and their advisors access to select alternative investments such as hedge funds and private equity funds.
