iCapital Network set to democratize alternative investments completes $50m financing round

iCapital Network announced the completion of its $50m financing round with investments from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, UBS Financial Services, Inc., and lead investor BlackRock underscoring importance of alternative investments and market-leading technology in holistic wealth management.

iCapital Network is a financial technology platform democratizing alternative investments for high-net-worth individuals and their financial advisors. It said that the latest funding round as part of a broader commercial relationship.

"Our strategic partnerships represent industry confidence in iCapital's technology-led approach to solving the long-standing obstacles that prevent individual investors from accessing institutional-caliber investments," said Lawrence Calcano, chief executive officer of iCapital Network. End-to-end technology removes operational investment hurdles

iCapital's online platform offers investors and their advisors access to select alternative investments such as hedge funds and private equity funds.
