AFX Capital launches hedge fund incubation program for rapid growth

Francois Nembrini Cyprus regulated foreign exchange broker AFX Capital announced that its Quantic wealth management unit had launched a hedge fund incubation program aimed at finding and developing new talents to help accelerate their success.

In a report, newswire LeapRate said that the program called QuanticAM Lab would be using available Quantic infrastructure to allow fund managers to expand their assets under management quickly and achieve growth at a faster rate.

Quantic's head of sales Francois Nembrini was quoted as saying QuanticAM Lab had done two 500k allocations in the past weeks. The company said that beyond trading performance, the main hurdles that an aspiring money manager must overcome in order to succeed are threefold: Regulatory framework, raising capital, low cost trading, risk monitoring and best execution infrastructure.

Emergence, the French incubation fund providing seed funding for France-registered managers, and NewAlpha Asset Management, the proxy manager of the fund, have selected La Financière Responsable, the sixth company selected for the sub-fund of Emergence dedicated to European equities and currently closed to subscriptions.
