BULLETIN: Assets, performance, liquidationsFlorin Court's assets reach $900m Douglas Greenig, the former chief risk officer at Man Group Plc's AHL unit, said he raised about $500m from Brummer & Partners this month, more than doubling the assets managed by the hedge fund he started last year. The allocation boosts Greenig's Florin Court Capital's assets to about $900m, making it one of the largest hedge-fund startups in the past year, reports Bloomberg.New Managers profiled Florin Court in November2015. BosValen's assets shrink BosValen Asset Management, the Hong Kong-based firm led by former SAC Capital Advisors manager Ken Xu, has seen assets in its hedge fund shrink by almost a third in five months because of investment losses and redemptions, according to Bloomberg.The equity long-short hedge fund shed about $120m since early September, bringing assets to $250m. The fund's performance has been about flat since its inception in November 2014. Emerging funds outperform in February Emerging funds outperformed in February, according to data provider Preqin.Emerging hedge funds (those with less than $100m in AuM) were the only size class to see positive returns in February, posting 0.14%. Funds larger than $1bn returned -0.76%, while medium-sized funds (those between $500-999bn) saw the greatest losses of -1.00%.
