GW&K Investment Management adds new partners

Opalesque Industry Update - GW&K Investment Management (GW&K), an entrepreneurial-driven investment management firm offering active equity and fixed-income investment solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base, today announced that it has named Leigh Williamson and Gayle Hodus partners of the firm.

In commenting on the announcement, Bill Roberts, Co-CEO of the firm said, "I am pleased to announce the appointments of Leigh and Gayle to partner. Each has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, a collaborative spirit, and unwavering dedication to helping ensure the firm's ongoing success. We look forward to their continued contributions."

Williamson, who joined the firm in 2013, is a client portfolio manager for GW&K's domestic equity strategies. As a member of the equity team, she plays an integral role in supporting client retention and business development primarily for the firm's domestic small cap strategies, working closely with the equity portfolio managers, analysts and the sales and marketing teams. She is also a member of the firm's Investment Committee. Additionally, she was one of the first co-chairs of the Women in Finance Committee. Prior to joining GW&K, Williamson worked in institutional equity sales at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.

Williamson graduated magna cum laude from Boston College. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston and holds Series 7 and 63 Licenses with FINRA. Additionally, she is a member of McLean Hospital's Women's Mental Health Leadership Council and McLean Hospital's Board of Visitors.

Hodus, who is the director of human resources at GW&K, has leveraged her comprehensive HR experience to lead a team responsible for developing and executing HR strategy in support of the firm's strategic business goals and objectives. This has included enhancing HR programs, policies and initiatives. She is the co-chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and a member of the Women in Finance Committee. Prior to joining GW&K in 2022, Hodus was executive director, head of investment management talent acquisition at Eaton Vance/Morgan Stanley.

Hodus earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ithaca College and a Master of Education from Lesley College. She has a certificate of Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is also a member of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) and The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Talent Development & Retention Leadership Council.
