Tedesko joins Lazard's private capital advisory

Tuesday, November 26, 2024
Opalesque Industry Update - Lazard, Inc. today announced that Jennifer (Jen) Tedesko joined the firm as a Managing Director within the Private Capital Advisory (PCA) business, based in San Francisco.

Jen will focus on originating and advising on private equity secondary opportunities. In addition, the firm will add a Director focused on private equity distribution and recently transferred a PCA professional from the firm's London office, who will focus on private equity transaction management. With these additions, Lazard continues its commitment to the West Coast - San Francisco and Los Angeles - as the second largest U.S. hub advising private equity clients in the primary fundraising and secondary markets.

"We've seen continued growth in the private markets on the West Coast of the U.S. and it is strategically important for our us to expand our strong local team to support our clients," said Holcombe Green, Global Head of Lazard Private Capital Advisory. "We couldn't be more excited to add Jen to the team and continue to strengthen the Private Capital Advisory business at Lazard."

Lazard has a track record of advising on and acting as placement agent on several recent West Coast deals including Kingswood Capital Management Fund II and III, Pacific Avenue Capital Partners I, and lead financial advisor on Altamont Capital Partners' Tacala LLC continuation fund. This appointment demonstrates Lazard's successful global recruiting efforts as the firm continues to execute its long-term growth strategy.

Jen has more than 25 years of private equity advisory and fundraising experience. Prior to joining Lazard, Jen was a Managing Director at Campbell Lutyens, where she sourced and executed primary fundraisings and secondary transactions. Prior to Campbell Lutyens, Jen was a Partner at Atlantic Pacific Capital, where she spent 14 years focused on private capital advisory, project management, and origination. Jen started her career in Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette's Private Fund Group in San Francisco and subsequently was one of the first employees at Probitas Partners. She has been a member of PEWIN, a network of senior influential women in private equity, since 2007. Jen holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from Bucknell University.
