HighPost Capital adds to investment team

Opalesque Industry Update - HighPost Capital, LLC, a leading private investment firm focused on the global consumer sector, today announced that David Weston has joined the firm as Managing Director, HighPost Fund I, effective immediately. In this role, Mr. Weston will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and leading new investment opportunities in HighPost's core sectors.

A skilled investment professional with nearly 18 years across the consumer sector, Mr. Weston has served on the Board of Directors of several companies including Barry's, CR Fitness, Encore Vet Group, EWC Growth, HydroMassage, and Mack Weldon.

"David is a strong addition to the HighPost team as we continue to strategically expand our platform," said David Moross, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HighPost. "He brings a successful track record of sourcing and executing new investments across the consumer sector and entrepreneurial spirit to the firm, and we look forward to his contributions."

Prior to joining HighPost, Mr. Weston spent 16 years at North Castle Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in consumer-driven product and service businesses, where he was most recently a Partner. At North Castle, he focused on the execution and oversight of private equity investments across a variety of sectors including fitness, health & beauty services, franchising, weight management, and veterinary health, among others. Mr. Weston began his career in investment banking as an Analyst in the retail and consumer group at Credit Suisse. He earned a B.B.A. with high distinction in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
