Tuesday, June 13, 2023
Opalesque Industry Update - WTW, a global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced the appointment of Diya Luke as global head of Investments, effective July 1. In this role, Luke will be responsible for driving the growth strategy of the company's Investments business globally. She will report to Julie Gebauer, head of Health, Wealth & Career and succeeds Chris Ford, who will retire at the end of June.

"We're excited to appoint Diya to this important leadership position," said Gebauer. "She's an experienced leader with a track record for making smart connections and a deep understanding of our clients' needs. We look forward to her many contributions as we continue to bring our best innovative ideas forward and invest for a more sustainable tomorrow."

Luke joined WTW in 2004 as an Investments consultant. Since then, she's held several leadership positions including New York Investments Leader, Southeast Investments Leader, Northeast Region Leader and most recently Growth Acceleration Leader for the company's Health, Wealth & Career business. Luke has a B.A. in economics and political science from Macalester College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Commenting on Chris Ford's upcoming retirement, Gebauer said, "Chris's leadership has been instrumental in building a truly global Investments business, which today has more than $150 billion in assets under management and has historically outperformed industry benchmarks. As a result, our clients' portfolios have achieved attractive investment results while managing risk. We take this opportunity to thank Chris for all that he has done and to wish him the very best in his retirement as we look forward to continued growth in the Investments business under Diya's leadership."
