JTC hires new lead for Irish funds business

Wednesday, August 31, 2022
Opalesque Industry Update - JTC, the global professional services provider, has hired John Collins as Senior Director - Fund Services following the launch of its fund administration service in Ireland.

John has over 20 years' experience within financial services having previously worked at a number of fund administrators, global custodians and high profile institutions including Euronext Dublin. In addition, his roles in Client Relationship and Business Development over the years have afforded him the opportunity to build a substantial network of industry professionals accumulated in Ireland and the Cayman Islands.

John will operate from JTC's offices in Dublin and London to lead the growth of the Irish fund administration service which was launched at the beginning of August. Alongside the newly launched offering, JTC in Ireland also has existing corporate, AIFM and depositary services, the latter two provided by Ballybunion Capital and INDOS Financial (Ireland) respectively.

Commenting on John's appointment, Jonathan Jennings, Group Head of Institutional Client Services at JTC, said:

"We're delighted that John has joined us at this important time of expansion for our business in Ireland and look forward to seeing the benefit of his experience and network in raising the profile of our experts in Dublin. Ireland is a key strategic jurisdiction for JTC and through our agile teams, we can deliver a comprehensive range of fund and corporate services solutions, with high levels of customisation, no outsourcing or functionalisation of any core services."

John Collins added: "I'm excited to be part of JTC as it embarks on a new chapter in Ireland. With the fund administration licence approval from the Central Bank of Ireland, they have completed the final part of a holistic fund and corporate offering in the jurisdiction, all supported by a huge depth and breadth of knowledge from across a global, listed parent company. I'm keen to really connect with new and existing networks to explain our approach and the benefits it can bring."
