Opalesque Industry Update - Global law firm Goodwin announced today that Daniel Dusek will join the firm as partner in the global Private Equity practice, resident in the Hong Kong office.

"Daniel is one of the premier private equity lawyers in Asia who has strong relationships with some of the most prominent investment managers in the region," said Yash Rana, Co-chair of Goodwin's Private Equity group and leader of the firm's Asia practice. "His choice of the Goodwin platform to further achieve his client's ambitions is evidence of our private equity practice's market-leading reputation. We look forward to welcoming Daniel to the firm as we continue to build out our full-service offering in Asia."

Dusek has over 20 years of experience advising on complex, cross-border corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, auctions, private equity and leveraged buyouts, take-privates, spin-offs and joint ventures, for leading private equity investors and corporations. Goodwin's full-service practice in Asia serves clients in all of Goodwin's key industry verticals, including private equity, technology, life sciences, financial services and real estate. The firm was recognized by China Business Law Journal with awards in the Private Equity & Venture Capital, Healthcare, Pharma & Life Sciences and Consumer & Retail categories, in 2021.
