Opalesque Industry Update - Bridge Alternatives, the specialist alternative investment advisor, is today announcing the launch of Bridge Alternative Investment Solutions, an outsourced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operations Officer (COO) business focused on meeting the institutional needs of investment management firms.

Kyle Fields, formerly of SS&C Technologies and PricewaterhouseCoopers, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Bridge Alternatives and will lead this new business based in Evansville, IN and Lake Forest, IL. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in accounting, finance, and technology, helping clients streamline processes, maximize performance, and increase profitability. At SS&C, he orchestrated and grew the Evansville, Indiana office from one to over 240 employees and was accountable for hundreds of alternative funds ranging in size, structure, strategy, and geographical locations across the globe.

Bridge Alternative Investment Solutions will perform virtually every function that an in-house CFO and/or COO would provide, including books and records management, cash movements and controls, fee calculations and billing, audit management and coordination, tax compliance and coordination and service provider oversight and relationship management. The firm will focus on investment managers across hedge funds, CTAs, private equity funds, venture capital and a variety of other investment structures.

Ryan Duncan, Managing Partner of Bridge Alternatives, said: "With the addition of Kyle and our new offering, Bridge Alternatives will be the first platform to combine capital raising, brokerage solutions and outsourced CFO / COO roles. The outsourced C-level industry is growing in size and scope as an increasing number of investment managers are seeking third-party solutions to navigate an increasingly competitive investment landscape. To meet this demand, we are focused on creating a full-service solution for investment managers who want to build an institutional quality firm while focusing on the skill set that sets them apart: delivering alpha."

Kyle Fields, Partner/CFO of Bridge Alternatives & Managing Partner of Bridge Alternative Investment Solutions: "Ryan and the team at Bridge Alternatives have built long lasting relationships with some fantastic institutions and it's an exciting time to be working together at this growth stage, where demand for expert, outsourced solutions is at an all-time high. The ability to assist institutional investment managers with capital introductions and brokerage solutions, while providing institutional grade controls, processes and procedures is a natural synergy and unmatched in the marketplace today. We are in an ideal position to become the one-stop shop for outsourced institutional investment solutions."
