Zug-based asset manager Tramondo strengthens team with two experienced investment specialists

Tuesday, October 26, 2021
Opalesque Industry Update - Tramondo Investment Partners AG, a bank-independent Zug, Switzerland-based investment boutique, announces that it has hired Mr. Urs Eilinger and Mr. Andreas Gassmann as Senior Relationship Managers.

In their roles, Urs Eilinger and Andreas Gassmann will be responsible for supporting and advising national and international clients. Both are highly experienced experts, having spent decades in the fields of investment advisory and portfolio management.

Before joining Tramondo, Urs Eilinger was Senior Relationship Manager in the Wealth Management department of Bank Julius Baer in Zurich. Before that, he was a team leader in Wealth Management at WMPartners until its integration into Bank Julius Baer. Prior to the merger with WMPartners, Urs Eilinger served as CIO and Partner at Infidar Investment Advisory in Zurich, where - as a member of the Executive Board and Head of Portfolio Management - he was responsible for the company's overall asset allocation.

Before joining Tramondo, Andreas Gassmann worked for five years as a Senior Relationship Manager in the wealth management division of Bank Julius Baer. Before that, he held various senior private banking roles at UBS AG in Basel, Zurich, London, and Singapore.

The appointments are part of Tramondo's regional growth strategy in Central Switzerland and Zurich. Last year, the Zug and Zurich-based investment boutique had already expanded its client advisory team with two experienced financial specialists.

Raphael Müller, Chief Executive Officer of Tramondo, commented: "Right from our initial discussions with Urs Eilinger and Andreas Gassmann, it was clear that our views aligned on the financial markets and how they should be approached from an investment perspective. I am therefore delighted to be able to bring on board two highly experienced investment experts with a network of contacts that fits in well with Tramondo and to be able to strengthen our organization in this way further. I am very much looking forward to a successful cooperation with Urs Eilinger and Andreas Gassmann."

"The financial markets are challenging and will remain so for the foreseeable future. In Tramondo, I am pleased to have found a partner who consistently pursues an adaptive investment philosophy focused on capital preservation," explained Urs Eilinger, Senior Relationship Manager at Tramondo.

"What I value about Tramondo is the entrepreneurial latitude. Add to that a highly sophisticated operational setup for an investment boutique. This combination allows me to leverage my broad international network of relationships very effectively," added Andreas Gassmann, Senior Relationship Manager at Tramondo.
