Wednesday, October 14, 2020
Opalesque Industry Update - SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC) announced that the gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for September 2020 measured 0.75%.

Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index declined 0.82% in October.

"SS&C GlobeOp's Capital Movement Index for October 2020 of -0.82% reflects net cash outflows, as is typical for the month of October based on long-standing seasonal patterns. In view of these seasonal patterns, it should be noted that the -0.82% for October 2020 is actually quite strong, comparing favorably to the -1.09% reported for the same period last year, and representing the lowest net outflows of any month of October since 2012," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. "Moreover, October 2020 marks the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year improvements in net flows, providing further confirmation of the ongoing positive trend in hedge fund asset retention since the outbreak of COVID-19."

The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index is an asset-weighted, independent monthly window on hedge fund performance.

The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index offers a unique reflection of the return on capital invested in funds.

The SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index represents the monthly net of hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the SS&C GlobeOp platform.

Cumulatively, the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index for October 2020 stands at 130.23 points, a decrease of 0.82 points over September 2020. The Index has declined 1.02 points over the past 12 months. The next publication date is November 12th, 2020.
