SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index up 1.15% in October

Thursday, November 14, 2019
Opalesque Industry Update - The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for October 2019 measured 1.15%.

Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index advanced 0.50% in November.

"SS&C GlobeOp's Capital Movement Index showed a gain of 0.50% for November 2019, reflecting net inflows for hedge funds. Although the gain was slightly lower than the 0.61% increase in net flows reported a year ago, the result is well within the range of normal variation," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies.

"Overall, we see this month as a positive reading for managers as it shows continued strength in asset retention amid volatile markets," he added.

The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index is an asset-weighted, independent monthly window on hedge fund performance.

The SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index represents the monthly net of hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the SS&C GlobeOp platform.

Cumulatively, the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index for November 2019 stands at 131.75 points, an increase of 0.50 points over October 2019. The Index has declined 1.79 points over the past 12 months. The next publication date is December 12, 2019.
