Family office EPIQ Capital Group names Boris Albul CIO

Opalesque Industry Update - EPIQ Capital Group, a private multi-family office, today announced that Boris Albul has joined as Chief Investment Officer (CIO). With nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Albul will lead macroeconomic research, investment analysis, portfolio construction and risk management for EPIQ clients.

Boris was previously Head of Risk Management at a global, multi-family office with $27B in assets under management, Financial Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Head of Quantitative Analysis at Allianz Hedge Fund Partners and CIO at a quantitative hedge fund, QSF Capital Management.

"We are excited to have Boris working directly for our families. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. This gives our clients a premier outsourced CIO option with expertise in portfolio construction and risk management," said Chad Boeding, CEO of EPIQ.

Dr. Boris Albul earned his PhD in finance and real estate from the University of California at Berkeley, his master's degree in financial engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, his MBA from the University of Iowa and his bachelor's degree in applied mathematics summa cum laude from the State University of Moldova.
