Wednesday, October 31, 2018
Opalesque Industry Update - Campbell Lutyens, one of the leading global private capital advisors, is pleased to announce that Michele Kinner has joined as a US Advisory Director. Ms. Kinner has over 30 years of experience in private equity and banking. Most recently, she was a Partner at Quilvest Private Equity, where she was responsible for the firm's private equity investments in the US. She is now a Senior Advisor at the firm. Prior to joining Quilvest in 2005, Ms. Kinner managed private fund investments for Royal Bank of Canada. Previously, she was with JPMorgan Chase and its predecessors for over 22 years, where she led the firm's legacy Chase Capital Partners private equity business, managing over US$1 billion. In these roles, Ms. Kinner managed investments in over 400 prominent US and global fund managers.

Ms. Kinner holds an MBA from the Whittemore School at the University of New Hampshire and an A.B. in Economics and Psychology from Smith College. "We are delighted to welcome Michele as an Advisory Director in the US," said Gordon Bajnai, Chairman of the Global Advisory Board. "Her understanding of the private equity landscape, having built the private equity fund of funds practice at JPMorgan Chase and established Quilvest's presence in the US, will be valuable to Campbell Lutyens and our clients."

Since 2017, Campbell Lutyens' US team has doubled in size to over 35 people and advised on $18 billion in fund placement and secondary transactions for leading US private equity, infrastructure and private debt managers, including Webster Capital, Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and John Hancock.
