Mona Mahajan joins Allianz Global Investors as US Investment Strategist

Opalesque Industry Update - Allianz Global Investors, one of the world's leading active investment managers, announced today that Mona Mahajan has joined the firm as their new US Investment Strategist.

In this role, Mona will serve as a key spokesperson and thought leader for AllianzGI in the US, helping to shape and communicate the firm's "House View" on the markets. She reports to Neil Dwane, Global Strategist.

"With her extensive investment experience and subject matter expertise, Mona is well positioned to expand our efforts to provide engaging, timely investment insights to a US audience," said Neil Dwane.

Mona joins AllianzGI from MetLife Investments where she was a Portfolio Manager and Product Specialist for the Structured Finance Fixed Income Strategy. In this role she was responsible for portfolio management, relative value strategy, tactical positioning, client relationship support and marketing. She has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, spanning portfolio management, global market strategy, public and private equity, emerging markets, thought leadership and client relationship management. Mona holds a B.S. from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
