Niche-Focused Fund of Funds Posts +16.35% YTD Returns While Manager Warns of USD Reserve Currency Challenges

Eagle's View Capital Partners, L.P., the New York-based fund of funds managed by industry veteran Neal Berger, posted an estimated +0.69% return in November 2025, bringing year-to-date performance to approximately +16.35% net of all fees and expenses. The performance significantly outpaces the HFRI Fund of Funds Composite Index and continues the fund's impressive long-term track record.

Fund Characteristics

Since its June 2010 inception, Eagle's View Capital Partners has generated a 7.80% annualized return with a cumulative gain of 220.47%, compared to the HFRI FOF Composite Index's 4.14% annualized return and 86.90% cumulative performance over the same period. The fund has achieved this with relatively low volatility (4.93% annualized) and a Sharpe ratio of 1.26, while maintaining a near-zero beta (-0.02) to the S&P 500.

The fund's performance characteristics are particularly noteworthy: 70.43% of months have been positive since inception, with an average positive month of +1.31% versus an average negative month of -0.98%. The largest drawdown of -7.17% compares favorably to the HFRI FOF Composite Index's -9.04% maximum drawdown over the same period.
