Man Group expands US wealth offering with launch of two additional active ETFs

Man Group said it has launched two additional actively managed ETFs for the US wealth market, taking its US ETF lineup to four funds. The new products are the Man Active Emerging Markets Alternatives ETF (ticker: MEMA) and the Man Active Trend Enhanced ETF (ticker: MATE), both listed on Nasdaq on December 17, 2025.

MEMA: The fund will invest at least 80% of net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity and equity-related securities of emerging market issuers, with emerging markets generally defined by reference to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. Man said the strategy combines data-driven models and machine learning with human oversight, and is typically delivered in a 130/30 profile (130% long and 30% short, net 100% exposure).

MATE: The fund is designed to pair US equity market participation with a systematic trend-following overlay across global futures markets. Man said it seeks to replicate S&P 500 exposure efficiently and deploy spare cash into momentum models across rates, commodities, currencies, and equities, aiming to improve resilience across different market regimes. The fund will hold US Treasuries, cash and cash equivalents as collateral for derivatives and to generate incremental income.
