By Opalesque Geneva: Sir Christopher Hohn, head of hedge fund TCI, has directed his charitable foundation CIFF to stop giving grants to U.S.-based non-governmental organisations following a damning report by the Americans for Public Trust, a watchdog.

"Consequently, CIFF's Board have decided that… CIFF should redirect its funding to, and restructure its contracts to be with, non-US NGOs."
