Laxman Pai, Opalesque Asia: Tech-focused growth investor Level Equity has raised $1.4bn across its latest flagship fund and a new Opportunities vehicle.
The funds - Level Equity Growth Partners VI (LEGP VI) and Level Equity Opportunities Fund 2025 (LEOF 2025) - closed at their collective cap of $1.4 billion, up from $1.125 billion in their 2021 vintage equity funds, revealed a press note from private investment firm focused on providing capital to rapidly growing software and technology-driven businesses.
"It is always flattering to receive significant interest and support from existing and new investors and achieving these closes quickly and successfully in a more cautious fundraising environment was especially gratifying," said Ben Levin, Level co-founder and CEO.
"We are deeply grateful to our existing investor base for their longstanding support and excited to welcome our newest group of investors," Ben added.
Per the release, Level will continue to follow the same strategy employed since inception - identifying and partnering with high-growth, capital-efficient, software businesses - pursuing both minority and majority investments.
Level has significantly invested in its ability to actively assist founders and managers at various stages of scale through to ultimate liquidity with portfolio operations support from Level's rapidly growing in-house value creation team, NextLevel Operations, the release added.
