Clean Energy Ventures Closes closes second fund on $305M

Bailey McCann, Opalesque New York:

Venture capital firm Clean Energy Ventures has closed its second fund on $305 million. The fund is significantly larger than its predecessor fund which closed on $110 million in 2019.

Clean Energy Ventures is focused on reducing carbon emissions through its funds. The firm says each investment must be able to mitigate at least 2.5 gigatons of CO2e emissions cumulatively between the initial investment and 2050.
