Advisors turn to white label funds as demand for alternative investments rise

According to CAIS, an alternative investment platform for independent financial advisors, the demand for customised white label funds continues to increase among independent broker-dealers (IBDs) and registered investment advisors (RIAs) seeking alternative asset allocations on behalf of their clients.

CAIS provides advisors with alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private debt, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes. The U.S. firm also offers custom solutions for advisors seeking to create custom fund vehicles around ideas they source. Its white label fund solutions, Custom Funds, allow financial advisors to outsource fund formation and operations management to the CAIS Platform.

White label products are sold by retailers with their own branding and logo but the products themselves are manufactured by a third party.

In a recent CAIS-Mercer survey, advisors cited high levels of administration (51%) as one of the greatest challenges to adopting alternatives in their portfolios. CAIS hopes to bring a solution to that problem through the Custom Funds offering, which improves operational efficiency through features like electronic subscription documents, automated post-trade reporting, and deep data integrations - all expl......................
