BTIG snaps up former Panmure Gordon MDs to establish new specialized hedge fund division

BTIG, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research, and related brokerage services, has snapped up two former Panmure Gordon managing directors to join its newly launched hedge fund group based in London.

The New York-based provider of institutional brokerage and fund services said in a press release that the new Tactical Hedge Fund Group will be focused on expanding the agency broker's multi-asset high-touch coverage of the hedge fund segment.

Bella Brandon, CFA, and Zoe Henderson join the team as Managing Directors and will be based in the London office, said the release.

"We are excited to welcome Bella and Zoe to the firm," said Luke Hodges, BTIG Limited's Chief Executive Officer. "The addition of Bella and Zoe, along with the launch of our newly formed Tactical Hedge Fund Group, speaks to BTIG's commitment to this increasingly important segment of the marketplace. The team will be producing differentiated content and continue to provide high-touch, multi-asset coverage for our hedge fund clients."

Ms. Brandon brings over 10 years of industry expertise to the firm. Most recently, she was Managing Director and Co-Head Dynamics Team at Panmure Gordon where she was responsible for building out their Pan-European and US Content, Trading & Sales Trading effort.
