Adams Street raises $1.3bn for a fifth co-investment fund

Global private markets investment manager Adams Street Partners has completed fundraising for its Co-Investment Fund V, closing the oversubscribed program with more than $1.3 billion of committed capital.

The investment management firm with more than $52 billion of assets under management said in a media release that the Fund V program saw high demand globally, exceeding original targets and showing a strong representation from existing and new investors.

The successful close of Fund V raises total Co-Investment strategy assets to $4.2 billion. Fund V expects to target approximately 50 investments with industry-leading general partners (GPs) globally.

"Adams Street's dedicated Co-Investment team and long-term partnerships with GPs help enable us to source high-conviction opportunities around the world," said David Brett, Partner & Head of Co-Investments. "This close validates our clients' confidence in the Co-Investment program and we are excited to put this capital to work over the next few years."
