APAC deal activity up 11.6% with 4,511 deals in Q1 2022

4,511 deals (comprising mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and venture financing deals) were announced in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region during Q1 2022 representing an increase of 11.6% over 4,042 deals during Q1 2021, said a study.

According to GlobalData, the deal activity in the region witnessed a fluctuating month-on-month trend during Q1 2022 with February witnessing a decline and March witnessing a solid rebound.

APAC markets such as India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Singapore witnessed growth in deal volume by 38.7%, 8.7%, 37.2%, 2%, and 5......................
