Investors withdraw $8.42bn from the global hedge fund industry in July

Investors withdrew another $8.42 billion from the global hedge fund industry in July, according to the latest 2019 eVestment Hedge Fund Asset Flows Report. However, positive performance has helped to keep industry assets above $3 trillion. Total industry AUM sits at $3.303 as of the end of July.

Event Driven funds were the only fund type to see significant inflows in July, with investors adding +$2.88 billion to these funds last month. YTD flows stand at +$10.27 billion.

Relative Value Credit, MBS Strategies, and Distressed funds saw +$780 million inflows, +$240 million inflows and +$......................
