Hedge Connection rolls out virtual investor-introduction event series

Hedge Connection is planning to launch a series of virtual investor-introduction events, beginning January 21, 2019.

The 2019 Fintroz Forum Series is designed around Hedge Connection's patented Capital Club investor-introduction service and will connect allocators to managers of various alternative investment strategies online in a targeted and efficient manner.

Gemini, a subsidiary of NorthStar Financial Services Group which has $802bn in assets under management, will support the inaugural event, to be held January 21-28, 2019, it said.

Thirty alternative investment managers from Gemini's Galaxy Plus platform will be promoted and presented to participating allocators. During the event, connection requests will be one-way, with the control in the hands of these qualified investors.

They may connect with managers in one of two ways; either by scheduling a phone meeting or requesting to be placed on a fund's distribution list. Managers have the option of accepting or declining connection requests.
