70% of Americans surveyed are emotionally uncertain on cryptocurrencies

According to a fresh survey released by Clovr, a blockchain oriented research firm, almost 70 percent of respondents felt "uncertainty" summed up their emotions regarding cryptocurrencies.

The research report sampling over 1,000 American adults found that over 75 percent of Americans feel they know what cryptocurrency is.

When you factor in that over 20 percent of the remainder believes they "sort of" know what's going on with these electronic payment methods, almost the entirety of America has at least some exposure to the concept of currency akin to bitcoins. Even some as young as 19 have turned a grandmother's gift into a million-plus-dollar profit.

According to the survey, 69.8 percent of people expressed uncertainty about the cryptocurrency market while 28.1 percent are hopeful about crypto adoption and positive movement in the market.

Per the survey, men are almost twice as likely to invest in digital currencies, with 43 percent of men and 23 percent of women investing in crypto. 47 percent of individuals with an annual income not less than $75,000 annually have invested in digital assets, while less than a quarter of those earning under $25,000 said they can afford to significantly invest in crypto.
