Ribbit Capital plans to raise $420m for its latest fund

The US-based fintech investment powerhouse Ribbit Capital, whose portfolio includes hits like cryptocurrency wallet and marketplace provider Coinbase and the no-fee mobile investment platform Robinhood, is aiming to raise $420 million for its latest fund.

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), fund will be the fifth venture of Ribbit with limited partners, while the $420 million figure is a "nominal increase" from the $300 million the company attracted last year.

Founded in 2012, Ribbit's portfolio is marked by cooperation with notable cryptocurrency and blockchain projects, finance company Credit Karma, and......................
