AE Industrial Partners closes second fund at $1.3 billion

Bailey McCann, Opalesque New York:

AE Industrial Partners, has closed its second fund at $1.3 billion. The firm invests in aerospace, defense, power generation and specialty industrial companies. Eaton Partners acted as the placement agent for the fund.

AE Industrial Partners Fund II is larger than the firm's debut fund which closed on $680 million in 2016. Both funds beat targets.

Known investors in Fund II include the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association and the New Mexico Educational Retirement board.

Fund I, which is currently over 80 percent invested or reserved, has closed 21 acquisitions since April 2015, including seven ......................
