Gelband set for biggest hedge fund launch ever

Michael Gelband was once heir apparent to Izzy Englander's Millennium, but now he's set to launch the biggest startup hedge fund ever. HFM first reported news of the $8 billion launch of ExodusPoint. ExodusPoint is launching as a traditional high-fee, high on star power fund and includes many former Millennium traders.

ExodusPoint will have 30 teams trading both bonds and equities starting on June 1. The team also includes several people who have come over from Man GLG.
