Australian hedge fund veterans launch cryptocurrency fund

Matthias Knab, Opalesque for New Managers:

Australian Hedge Fund veteran, Damien Hatfield of Triple A Partners, has teamed up with the ex-Head of Global Markets for ANZ Bank, Steve Bellotti, who is advising the recently formed EKT Active Fund, an actively traded cryptocurrency and ICO fund.

Hatfield says that the aim is to marry a traditional, recognised fund structure and long-term global markets experience with the new, emerging asset class of blockchain-based technologies. The fund is Cayman based and registered and includes an ......................
