Hedge fund Barnegat having a great year, up 17.9% YTD

Hedge fund manager Bob Treue is having a good year so far this year. His fixed income relative value hedge fund The Barnegat Fund is up 17.9% through July 2017 (+2.3% MTD).

Since its launch in 2001, the fund has recorded a 16.7% compounded annual rate of return.

"We have had a good year so far," Treue said. He added, "In terms of risk, we are carrying an average amount of risk, but with market volatility so low, our share price volatility has only been 4.7% for 2017."
