Schroders to acquire Adveq

Bailey McCann, Opalesque New York:

British Asset Manager Schroders will acquire Swiss private equity firm Adveq for an undisclosed sum. Reuters was first to report news of the transaction.

The deal will close in the second half of this year and Adveq will assume the name Schroders Adveq. Adveq currently manages approximately $7 billion.

Bruno Raschle, founder and executive chairman of Adveq will stay on the company's board as part of the deal but will not have an executive role. The......................
