John C Head IV leaves alternative investment firm Gallery Capital, David Harrison joins as co-CIO

John C Head IV, former president and co-founder of Gallery Capital Management, an alternative investment manager based in Atlanta, GA, left the company in the fall of 2014.

He originally established Gallery, agreed to its objectives and helped to draw up its original business plan. He left to "fully pursue his passion advising and investing in other startups," according to Karlos Emmanuel, portfolio manager at Gallery Capital. Head is currently senior partner at Hyllus Partners, a business-development consulting firm he founded in 2010. He has for several years provided business assistance to startups and small companies.

John C Head III, his father, co-founded Gallery and serves as President and co-CIO. He is a Morgan Stanley alumnus, and has more than 30 years of experience investing at Lloyd’s.

David Harrison replaced John C Head IV as co-CIO. He joined Gallery in the fall of 2013 as a consultant and transitioned into the new role during the summer of 2014. He has been an underwriting Member of Lloyd’s for over 35 years and has managed a number of ventures within Lloyd’s including, founding Harrison Brothers, a Members’ Agency and serving as the Deputy Chairman of Argenta Priva......................
