Weekly Technical Research Briefing brings “complete global overview of the most pertinent markets within a five-minute read”

Greg Troccoli, who has been producing Opalesque’s weekly Technical Research Briefing (TRB) since 2006, has been conducting technical market research since 1983. The Briefing, he says, brings Opalesque readers a "complete global overview of the most pertinent markets within a five-minute read."

The three-page document covers the S&P 500, the US Ten Year Treasury Note, crude oil, gold, currency markets, various commodity markets, the Hang Seng and the NASDAQ. He is planning on expanding it to include the EURO STOXX 50 and more commodity markets.

The most important thing about his recommendations, he tells Matthias Knab during a recent Opalesque Video interview, is in his entry and exit points. "When I do put a trade recommendation out, I am able to keep the risk very tight and let the profit run and I lower my risk parameters accordingly."

"You have to have the type of methodology that translates into markets across the global sectors," he continues. "And I have done that. I use very simple moving average lines.
