SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services said to wind down HK operations

According to industry sources, at the end of July SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services has wound down its Hong Kong operations, deciding to transfer all the functions of the department which included relationship management, client support and sales to Japan. With the closure of the operations, there are no Global Asset Services representatives in either Hong Kong or Singapore, so it seems SuMi Trust has given up on the rest of Asia and is pulling out.
