London charity to help ex-bankers and fund managers 'continue their life in dignity'

Taurus Orators, the initiators of the floating hedge fund city and the launching of the Ex-Sovereigns Wealth fund, will be launching a charity initiative aimed at assisting ex-bankers and fund managers affected by the cut backs in London. This initiative is to be called the Canus box Charity.

Dr A R Scholes, the man behind this charity drive says:

“It is alarming that many ex-bankers and fund managers are suffering from malnutrition as a result of the cut backs. They are no longer eating at the famous London haunts that are too expensive for them while they are on their last millions.

“We have approached a number of top restaurants and they are happy to participate by providing left-overs from the restaurants that will then be distributed in Canus bags marked with the specific restaurant thereby allowing the recipients to choose their favourite ex-haunt.”

Dr Scholes also added:

“Many of these restaurants will also encourage patrons to request that their left overs be donated to this initiative as well as a way of expressing solidarity with their ex-colleagues. Left over wine will also be distributed in previously used water bottles.”

This initiative could be introduced to other financial centres, London acting as the guinea pig.

A further initiative will be to assist these distressed persons who can no longer afford the petrol or the insurance for their luxury cars.
