Dexion hits 2012 focussed on expansion

Dexion Capital has launched itself into 2012 with renewed vigour, announcing two new appointments, designed to support its research and corporate finance facility. Tom Skinner from J.P. Morgan Cazenove is to head up its research offering while the firm has bolstered its corporate finance division with the appointment of Robert Peel - formerly of Winterflood.

In an interview with Ana Haurie, Dexion’s Group Managing Director, she said: "We are quite excited about how our business is positioned for 2012. These are great additions that further strengthen our capability in listed and unlisted alternatives."

Skinner’s pedigree strengthens Dexion’s research capability, particularly in leading coverage on listed hedge funds and listed offshore property funds, as well as covering listed private equity, infrastructure funds and conventional equity investment companies. The analyst team at Cazenove headed up by Skinner has been Extel-ranked number one for the past five years.

On the corporate finance side, Haurie said: "The addition of Robert to our corporate finance team complements the team’s head, Ravi Anand. This reinforces our offering of a full service corporate finance service to our clients, not just in listed but all advisory work."
