Fund administrators KRFS develop Form PF support service

Hedge fund administration firm Kaufman Rossin Fund Services (KRFS) has developed a new service designed to assist SEC-registered investment advisers of private funds who will be required to complete Form PF.

Jorge R. de Cardenas, co-founder of KRFS explains: "If you are an SEC registered adviser of private funds, Form PF may apply to you."

"As a fund administrator we maintain certain financial data necessary to produce a net asset value for our clients and their investors. Although this data may represent the majority of the information required by Form PF, it must be properly classified, aggregated and presented in order to meet the reporting obligations." he says.

Most funds will have to get their affairs in order and comply with a June 15th, 2012 deadline, others will have a bit more breathing room with a compliance date of December 15th 2012. De Cardenas says: "The response from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive. Many expect to outsource the coordination of this data and are happy that we are being proactive in helping them meet these requirements."
