Hedge Fund Appraisal closes shop citing wrong timing

Geneva-based boutique Hedge Fund Appraisal is to close shop after three and a half years. It was a provider of background checks, full due diligence reports, and support in gathering information around the due diligence process.

Gabriel Kurland, founder of the firm, commented: “Good timing is definitively a key factor for success in finance. It is certainly one of things I got wrong when I founded Hedge Fund Appraisal in the summer of 2007.
