Revere Capital Management on the hunt for passionate managers in liquid, mainstream strategies - Opalesque TV

We are only two weeks into 2011 and already hedge fund industry news has been dotted with announcements about launching seed vehicles (Arizona pension, New York Common Fund) and managers securing seed capital (Senrigan Capital and Brummer & Partners). "I think the demand for emerging managers is going up," says Dan Barnett, CEO and Chairman of seed firm Revere Capital Advisors in the latest Opalesque TV interview.

Barnett has expectations for the hedge fund industry to grow dramatically in its next chapter, pegging the eventual asset inflows at several trillions of dollars. Along with the senior executives from the Man Group that formed Revere Capital in late 2008, Barnett also expect this next chapter of growth will be driven largely by the emerging manager talent that is forming in the wake of the financial crash.
