SOKOL Russian Equity Opportunity Fund up 25.14% through August

ParusKreml Capital Management has informed Opalesque that the SOKOL Russian Equity Opportunity Fund was down 1.20% in August, but up 25.14% in 2010. In 2009, the fund returned 40.04%.

The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of Russian mid cap stocks after careful fundamental analysis of each individual company and does not use leverage or short selling.

ParusKreml Capital Management is an independent asset manager located in Moscow and specializing on the Russian securities market. The firm is majority-owned by the managers; a minority share is held by private bank M.M.Warburg & CO, Hamburg.
