Tennis, golf, hedge funds... the link between these three things is clear, and it is not the preferred seating at major events that hedge fund managers often find themselves able to secure. According to Jonathan Katz, PhD, licensed psychologist and founding partner at High Performance Associates, hedge fund staff, while highly trained in the technical aspects of their work, often benefit from the same level of mental training - a process that most athletes integrate into their own programs in order to reach peak performance.
Katz, who will be working with clients of New York-based executive recruiting firm Glocap Search, specifically works with hedge fund and other companies on four key areas: leadership, interpersonal communication, individual performance and team effectiveness.
