Opalesque Exclusive: HDF Finance reinforces its investment management and research teams HDF creates the new role of Head of Research and Risk Management and announces the appointment of Eric Debonnet to this position. In his new role, Eric Debonnet is responsible for leading the research efforts on markets and strategies. He makes recommendations on strategic allocation and portfolio construction to the Investment Committee of HDF. He also works on the development of decision support and risk management tools. Eric Debonnet is member of the Management Committee and of the Investment Committee of HDF.

HDF also announces the appointment of Thierry de Rycke to the position of Deputy Chief Investment Officer – Fixed Income and Relative Value as a replacement for Eric Debonnet. Thierry de Rycke is member of the Investment Committee of HDF.

Founded in 1986, HDF Finance has risen to become a specialist in multi-management, its one and only core business. HDF pioneered multi-management in France with the launch of the first French fund of hedge funds in 1989. Assets under management totalled USD 3 billion at 31 October 2008. Website: Source
