Opalesque Exclusive: Connexion Capital announces addition to its London team Connexion Capital today announced the addition of Mark Mortimer to its London-based team. Previously Mark worked at Tullett Prebon (formerly Collins Stewart Tullett Prebon) where he was a Director of Alternative Risk Marketing. Mark has 14 years of experience in trading derivatives and corporate bonds at leading investment banks but has been marketing alternative investments since 1997.

Cairn Capital appoints Peter Hansell to run new real estate fund Cairn Capital Limited announced the appointment of Peter Hansell. Formerly a Managing Director in Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group, Peter has been appointed to focus on the development and expansion of Cairn’s existing real estate related activities and to run the Company’s soon-to-be-launched new Ibex Fund. The Ibex Fund will specifically invest in commercial mortgage debt.
