Opalesque Exclusive: Marc Bender leaves EFX Capital, will stay in alternatives space EFX Capital yesterday announced Marc Bender will be leaving the company.

Jonny Friedman and Marc Bender have been co-managers of EFX and supported by Lindsey Ryan and Jill Karnell since its inception. Marc has tendered his resignation and will continue his career goals in the alternative asset allocation space.

In a letter obtained by Opalesque, EFX Capital's CEO Donald Motschwiller said: “We are most grateful for Marc’s contributions over the years and wish him continued success. I will continue to oversee EFX with Jonny managing the day-to-day business, supported by Lindsey and Jill.” Corporate webpage: Source

Capital Z A.M. hires business development veteran James M. Marrone from Bear Stearns Capital Z Asset Management, a sponsor of emerging hedge fund managers, announced yesterday that James M. Marrone, Jr. has joined the firm as a Partner and was named Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Marrone will report to Christianna Wood, Chief Executive Officer, in this newly created role.

Mr. Marrone will be a member of CZAM's senior executive team and will be responsible for providing strategic direction for sales, marketing and product development.
