Opalesque Exclusive: Finisterre Capital hires Oliver Penn to risk management team Finisterre Capital, the London based Emerging Markets specialist, has added another risk management professional to its ranks. The move has come following solid returns and over 50% growth in firm AUM since January of this year.

The most recent addition is Oliver Penn who will be part of the risk management team reporting to the firm’s Risk Manager, Xiang Lin. Oliver comes to Finisterre with broad experience from Bank of America and Endeavour Capital where he worked as quantitative developer/research analyst for the trading desks…Corporate website: www.finisterrecapital.com

Former DTCC chairman Jill Considine to join Fulcrum Group as chairman of the board Fulcrum Group, a global administrator for the hedge fund and alternative asset management industry, today announced that Jill M. Considine, Former Chairman & CEO of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in New York, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors…

As head of DTCC from 1999 to 2007, Ms. Considine was responsible for building DTCC into the world's largest post-trade infrastructure for clearing, settlement, and custody of most U.S. securities transactions. She expanded DTCC's business activities into the OTC derivatives market, led the launch of Omgeo (a joint venture with Thomson Financial)......................
