Opalesque Exclusive: Radcliffe Capital Management hires Darren Clipston and Maria Ding to expand research and trading efforts Radcliffe Capital Management, L.P., a suburban Philadelphia-based convertible arbitrage manager, today announced the appointments of Darren Clipston and Maria Ding to our trading and research teams.

Mr. Clipston joins Radcliffe as the firm's third trader. Darren has five years experience trading convertibles at Drake Management as the portfolio manager for Drake's convertible arbitrage strategies and, prior to that, served as a convertible arbitrage trader and analyst for two years with Sagamore Hill Capital Management. Steve Katznelson, Radcliffe's founding partner and CIO, states "Darren's trading expertise and analytical acumen were obvious to us, and both his previous employers and the sell-side trading community all have the highest praise for Darren. I'm confident Darren will add further depth to both our research and trading teams." Mr. Clipston received dual Bachelor's degrees in Operations Research and Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Australia and a Master's degree in Mathematics, specializing in Finance, from Columbia University.

Ms. Ding joins Radcliffe's research team and will focus on the health care and biotech sectors. Maria spent the last three years as a senior research analyst at Plexus Partners in New York where she served as the sole research analyst covering U.S. convertibles. Pr......................
